"Toy Story 4" might become a reality soon, according to Tom Hanks.  The series has become highly successful, with the most recent installment winding up the highest-grossing film of 2010, hitting profits of over $1.6 billion at the international box office. The original installment netted $300 million in 1995, and its 1999 sequel raked in $485 million.

Though "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich told CNN in December that there were plans to deliver more animated shorts, but not necessarily a sequel, Tom Hanks may have some inside information.
The actor, who voices the character of Woody the cowboy in the series, told "Showbiz Tonight" at the premiere of his newest movie "Larry Crowne" on Monday that he believes another sequel may be in the works.

"I understand it's happening and if it is, I hope they'll hire me [again]," he said. "They have almost every line I've ever said in the hard drive up there at Pixar. So they might not need me! I hope they'll have some unique grunts they're going to need from me so I can get in there and do it."

Pixar, the studio responsible for the series, did announce last week that they would have a second release in the 2013 calendar, and fans have been speculating on whether the event would be a sequel or an entirely new story. They'll simply have to wait for November 27, 2013 to get close enough for the studio to reveal what the date holds.
